A triangle has an area of 24cm and a base of 4 cm. which is the height of the triangle

A = ( b × h ) ÷ 2; where A = the area of the triangle; b = the base of the triangle; h = the height of the triangle;
24 = ( 4 × h ) / 2 ;
48 = 4 × h;
h = 48 ÷ 4;
h = 12cm.
