How does a large body of water, such as an ocean, influence climate

Because it can affect how much precipitation you have, and what climate you have, based on where the place is. If you are near the water, usually, you would get warm winters and cool summers. If you were away from the water, it would be different. It just really depends on where you are or where you live.

Correct answer: Cool ocean air causes a cool climate.

Because, in the summer, the beach is less oppressive than the city.
