If you would like to find the solution to the system of equations, you can do this using the following steps:

j + k = 3
j - k = 7 ... j = 7 + k
________________
j + k = 3
7 + k + k = 3
2k = 3 - 7
2k = - 4
k = - 2

j = 7 + k = 7 - 2 = 5

(j, k) = (5, -2)

The correct result would be B. The solution is (5, -2).
