if living space is reduced, then competition increases! if there's nowhere to go then there's going to be some pretty high tension!

Answer:

Competition will increase among population due to reduction of living space.

Step-by-step explanation:

Competition is the type of interaction between two organisms of same or different species in which both are harmed. So when the living space will reduce more individuals will forced to live in small area fighting for same resources. In this way the competition will increase among them.

This competition can lead to the eradication of individuals which are less adaptable or mutation in their genes that allow them to flourish different niche for example Darwin's finches of Galapagos island.
