7-Alexis has 12 44 yards of string for making keychains. For every keychain she makes she needs 3.5 yards to have the finished keychain be as long as she wants it to be. How many keychains can she make? What if she sells the keychains for 2.50 a piece, how much money will she make? THIS ONE IS A HUGE PROBLEM!!!IT ACTUALLY HAS TWO QUESTIONS IT IS ASKING YOU. FIRST, IMAGINE WHAT IS GOING ON? WHAT OPERATION WILL BE PERFORMED?

She has 1,244 yards.

Each keychain needs 3.5 yards.

She can make:

1244\text{ yards}\cdot\frac{1\text{ keychain}}{3.5\text{ yards}}=355.42\text{ keychains}

If we round, we get that she can make 355 keychains.

If she sells them at 2.50 a piece, she will get:

355\text{ keychains}\cdot\frac{2.50\text{ dollars}}{1\text{ keychain}}=887.50\text{ dollars}

She will make 877.50 dollars.
