Sedentary, semi-sedentary, and non-sedentary cultures were present 12, 000 years ago during the Archaic Period. The sedentary group was focused on intensive agriculture. They were the ones who built villages and towns and they were known to have made their own fertilized land for their own farming. On the other hand, semi-sedentary cultures were known to have built centers in their community in their villages. They are known for moving from one place to another instead of farming and cultivating in one place. Lastly, the non-sedentary group had camps, and they hunt and gathered which made them move from one territory to another.
