If the question is how much Cody will jog to save ratio 4miles:3 miles
The ratio is
(3)/(4)
We can just multiply 1 miles by ratio to see how much Cody will jog, so

1* (3)/(4) =(3)/(4) miles
The result is
(3)/(4) miles
