What is the distance between points (4, −7) and (−5, 9)? Round to the nearest tenth of a unit.

Here is the distance formula; hopefully that helps. Note that the whole formula is square rooted!
d= \sqrt{( x_{2}- x_{1) } }{2} ( y_{2} - y_{1} ){2} [/tex]
