The formula for the area of a circle is A=πr². To find the circumference, we must find the radius, r. To do this, we plug in the area for A in the first formula, then plug it in to the circumference formula:

100 \pi = \pi r^(2) \\ (100 \pi )/( \pi ) = ( \pi r^(2) )/( \pi ) \\ 100= r^(2) \\ √(100)= \sqrt{r^(2) } \\ r=10m

Now we know that r=10 meters. Now we plug this into the circumference formula, C=2πr.

C=2 \pi 10 \\ C=20 \pi

The answer is 20π meters.

Hope this helps!
