In "The Odyssey", (B.) a death shroud for Laertes is involved in Penelope's deception of the suitors.

During Odysseus' absence, his wife Penelope is forced to deal with a group of suitors that ask her hand in marriage. She comes up with a plan and tells the suitors that she will marry one of them after she finishes weaving a burial shroud for Laertes, Odysseus's father. However, Penelope deceives the suitors since she unravels her weaving every night in order to avoid marrying one of them. In Odyssey, Penelope is a loyal wife. Although Odysseus is absent from home for at least twenty years, he remains faithful to her husband for a long time.
