What is the difference between Weight and Mass?

Weight is how much force is exerted on the body by gravity. It is measured in N. To get Weight you multiply the mass in kg by the gravitational force of the planet that you are on (about 9.81 for earth). Gravity causes weight, which is why if you are an in an impossible scenario where no gravity is acting on you your weight would be 0N.

Mass is how much matter something contains, measured in Grams. A body's mass always stays the same regardless of where it is.
