The slope intercept form is express as follows

\begin{gathered} y=mx+c \\ \text{where} \\ m=\text{slope} \\ c=y-\text{intercept} \end{gathered}

Therefore,

3x - 5y = -20 can be represented as follows

\begin{gathered} 3x-5y=-20 \\ 3x+20=5y \\ \text{divide through by 5} \\ y=(3)/(5)x+(20)/(5) \\ y=(3)/(5)x+4 \end{gathered}
