The DOMAIN refers to all values of x, its also called the INPUT values, while the RANGE refers to all values of y, and its also called the OUTPUT values.

If you observe the line carefully, there is always a point where the x and y values intercept, and its read out as, "when x =?, then y = ?"

In this question, if you observe where x = 5, the line touches y at 90. That is on the horizontal (x-axis) when the value is 5, on the vertical (y-axis), the value is 90. Observe similarly for every value of x and you will see that there is a corresponding value for y. With that the line can be plotted. All the values of x that can be found on the line (including zero) is called the domain, while all the values of y that can be found on the line is called the range. It can be a negative, and it can be a fraction. The important thing is that you read it correctly on the linear function
