Back then, the companies that provided those product offer a lot of affordable installment plants , which make those big ticket items available to the consumers in the middle and lower class since they're allowed to make a small monthly payments for the product

The correct answer here is buying on
credit that is
"installment buying".
It is in the 1920s that the practice of buying on installments that is credit began in earnest. Before that you had to have a fixed amount of money and buy things in cash for the full price. With the credit buying, many items then become affordable to regular people. This brought products to much larger costumer base and resulted in increased sales.
