Compare 1.6 square meters and 16 tenths square meters

1.6 is more that 16 tenths because 16 tenths is written like 0.16, and if you take 1.6 and 0.16, you see that in the ones place 1.6 has 1 and 0.16 has 0, and 1 is bigger that 0. I hope that makes sense
