4(x-11)=15-4x

Step 2: Open the bracket


\begin{gathered} 4(x-11)=15-4x \\ 4x-44=15-4x \\ 4x+4x=15+44 \\ 8x=59 \end{gathered}

Hence the correct value of x is 59/8
