A universal truth is definitely something that readers can recognize as timeless and familiar. Sometimes it can even be considered common sense. A truth is considered universal because it is a truth that will be true in any instance. A truth that is universal will be true regardless of anyone’s contradictory idea or criticism. An example of a universal truth could be “Water is wet” or “everybody dies.”
