Let's plot new position of the point after translating 3 units up, followed by a reflection over the x-axis.

(-4, -2) after translating 3 units up will be: (-4, -2 + 3) = (-4, 1)

After a reflection over the x-axis will be: (x, -y) = [-4, -(1)] = (-4, -1)
