3/5 = (3 x 10)/(5 x 10) = 30/50
So 3/5 = 30/50

Yes it is, because if you multiply 3 by 10, you will get 30 and the same goes to 5 - if you multiply it by 10, you will get 50. So it means that:
3/5 = 30/50
