Let the equation of the line be: y = mx + c
Since m is the gradient, m = 3/4
∴ y =
(3)/(4) + c
c is the y-intercept, and to find it, substitute the coordinate (1, 1) into the equation:
1 =
(3)/(4) × 1 + c
c = 1 -
(3)/(4)
c =
(1)/(4)
∴ y =
(3)/(4)x +
(1)/(4)

I hope the calculations are correct...
