Its 400 pages becasue he reads 80 pages per hour

Well the first step is to find how many pages per hour he reads, 480 pages/6 hours= 80 pages per hour. now multiply that by 5 hours to get how many pages in 5 hours: 80 pages per hour*5 hours= 400 pages.
