In these lines from “Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard” by Thomas Gray, what does the speaker suggest about the need to be remembered after death?

Only the famous and powerful want to be remembered.
No one feels the need to be remembered once they’ve passed on.
All people want to be mourned and remembered after death.
People would rather forget those who have passed before them
ITS NOT C!

The answer is probably "No one feels the need to be remembered once they've passed on."

Good luck!

The answer to the question that you have presented above would be the first statement. The first choice which is "Only the famous and powerful want to be remembered." contains what the speakers suggest about the need to be remembered after death.
