ok so the fraction can be rewritten as 2(a+1)/(a+1)(a-1) so u cancel the (a+1) and you get 2/a-1 which is (A)

Answer:

A.
(2)/(a-1)

Explanation:

Given expression is,

(2a+2)/(a^2-1)

=(2(a+1))/(a^2-1) ( Taking 2 as common from both terms in numerator )

=(2(a+1))/((a+1)(a-1)) ( a² - b² = (a+b)(a-b) )

=(2)/(a-1)

Since, the further simplification is not possible,

Hence, option A is correct.
