Hello!

We have the following expression:

x^2+5x-3x-15

By analyzing it, we can find common factors on it:

• The, first two, terms ,have 'x',, so we can ,put it in evidence,.

,

• The ,last two, terms ,are multiple of -3,, so we can also ,put it in evidence,.

Let's rewrite it:

\begin{gathered} x^2+5x-3x-15 \\ x\cdot(x+5)-3\cdot(x+5) \end{gathered}

Now, note that we have (x +5) twice. So, we can put it in evidence too:

(x+5)\cdot(x+3)
