You need to isolate p:
1.4 divided by 0.7 = 0.7p divided by 0.7 (this eliminates 0.7)
2 = p

All you need to do if divide 0.7 from both sides. So like this
1.4=0.7p
/0.7= 0.7
and 0.7 cancels out so just figure out 1.4 divided by 0.7.
You should get 2
