Hi Tcourson!
PEMDAS is something we use. It stands for Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, and Subtraction!
NO
PARENTHESIS, AND EXPONENTS!
Multiplication!
3*2=
6
8*1=
8
Addition!
11+5+6+8=30

11+5=16 3x2= 6 8x1= 8 so add it together, 16 + 6 + 8 = 30.
