find increase
600-450=150

find percent of original
150/450=x%
percent means parts out of 100
x%=x/100
150/450=x/100
15/45=x/100
1/3=x/100
multiply both sides by 100
100/3=x
aprox 33.33333333333=x

answer is 33.3333% increase
