Adam has coconut milk. the coconut milk is in a can but he doesn't know how much the can holds. The can is 12cm high and the diameter is 8cm using the formula V=.π r ²h, work out how much coconut milk is in the can. Use 3 as a value for pie

π=3
h=12 cm
diameter=8 cm
radius=diameter / 2=8 cm/2=4 cm

V=πr²h=3(4 cm)²(12 cm)=3(16 cm²)(12 cm)=576 cm³.

answer: the can holds 576 cm³ of coconut milk.

What we want to find, is the volume of the can because that will give us the volume of the milk filing the can. We are given the following formula for volume:
V = pi * r^2 * h

When we plug in the volumes we are given we get the equation:
V = 3 * 4^2 * 12

Solving this equation:
V = 3 * 4^2 * 12
V = 3 * 16 * 12
V = 48 * 12
V = 576cm^3

There is 576 cubic centimeters of coconut milk in the can.
