The Middle East is facing really bad water scarcity. The surrounding countries (neighbors) also face these problems, which makes it almost impossible to receive any type of water supply from the Middle East. Not only is water scarcity a problem, but the little water that is provided or found is polluted and not drinkable for anyone. The only benefit the Middle East recieves, is from their high profitable oil, where they have the largest oil reservist in the world. You have to think that when you don't have water, you also don't have a way to benefit in anyway possible for your country's agriculture needs. How are you going to grow crops, and food if you don't have any water to water your harvest with? It was expected that the Middle East went into water scarcity in the 1970's.
