First, we calculate the radius of the circle.
radius=diameter / 2
radius=44 ft / 2=22 ft.
Second; we calculate the area of a circle.
area of a circle=πr²
area of a circle=π(22 ft)²=484π ft²
Remember: 22²=22 * 22 =484
Answer: B) 484π ft²
