Answer: False

Although talking to friends we trust is very important when struggling to make a decision, we should not dismiss the possibility of talking to adults such as parents, teachers and school counsellors. These people are likely to understand your situation as they have had more life experience than you, so they can draw on more examples that allow them to empathize. Moreover, it is likely that they care about your well-being greatly. Finally, teachers and school counsellors often have professional training, which allows them to help you better.
