The answer is A. The use of automobiles is necessary for the running of the economy.
We depend on them for transportation, whether it's to go to work or to go on a vacation. Companies depend on them for transportation of goods. There are too many reasons as to why we cannot ever stop using automobiles, unless, of course, a newer, more efficient type of automobile is invented in the future.
