If y= 4x +5 has a gradient of 4 write the equation of a line parrellel to it?

I'm not sure where you were taught this, but it is called slope, not gradient. It is how steep the line is and in slope-intercept form is the number right before the x. The equation of a line parallel to it is
y=4x+z where z is any real number.
For example: y=4x+1
