Answer: 2.1 miles

Step-by-step explanation: The solution is 2.1 miles. Because the radius is 1 mile, we can calculate the circumference of the park.

C = 2(π)(1) or about 6.3 miles. The central angle from the tennis courts to the petting zoo is 120°. This is 1 /3 of the entire circumference or about 2.1 miles.

First, you convert 120 degrees to radians
120x \frac{ \pi }{180} = \frac{2 \pi }{3}
then you mutiply by the radius (1 mile)
and get \frac{2 \pi }{3} miles
this is 2.09439.... blah blah blah
which rouds to 2.1miles or C
