if an element has more than one ionic change how is that piece of information represented in the chemical name

If you are talking about elements that can have more than one oxidation state, put the charge that they have in roman numerals behind the name.
ex) Fe³⁺ is written Iron (III) and Fe²⁺ is written Iron (II)
