isolate n

4n-3=-2n+15
4n+2n-3=-2n+2n+15
6n-3=15
6n-3+3=15+3
6n=18
6n/6=18/6
n=3

$4n-3=-2n+15\\\\4n+2n=15+3\\\\6n=18\\\\\boxed{x=(18)/(6)=3}$
