What is the solution to the following equation?
(5x-2)^2=10

take the square root of both sides to get rid of parenthasees, remember to get the positive and negative root
5x-2=+/-√10
add 2 to both sides
5x=2+/-√10
divide by 5
x=
(2+/- √(10) )/(y)

x=
(2+ √(10) )/(y) or
(2- √(10) )/(y)

aprox
x=1.03246 or -0.232456
