ok so
250 left for student desks
250≥8n
n=number of desks
solve
divide both sides by 8
31.25≥n
round down since we cannot have a decimal desk
31 desks

but, the teacher has 1 desk also so add 1
31+1=32

Answer:

Explanation:

Alright lets get started.

Total area of the classroom is 400 square feet

Since the teacher has set up her desk, computer, and podium so the area left for students desk is 250 square feet

Now,if each desk takes 8 square feet space of room,

then number of desks that can be fitted in the classroom =
(250)/(8) = 31.25

So,number of desks =31.25

Chairs can not be in decimal hence the answer is 31.

Answer 31

Hope it will help.
