For example, among the 8 marketing functions, Transporting and Grading don't apply to online products such as shows on Netflix or similar. There is nothing that needs to be transported since you purchase the goods online and they are not tangible. Grading is when the company grades the materials produced so as to keep a standard of quality, which doesn't occur in products such as TV shows where all products purchased are exact copies.
