Write the equation of the line that passes through the points (7, 5 and (0, 7). Put your answer in fully reduced point slope form

we know that

The equation of a line in point slope form

is equal to

y-y1=m(x-x1)

step 1

Find the slope

m=(7-5)/(0-7)

m=2/-7

m=-2/7

step 2

Find the equation

we have

m=-2/7

(x1,y1)=(0,7)

substitute

y-7=(-2/7)(x-0)

y-7=(-2/7)x -------> equation of the line in point slope form

and

In slope intercept form is equal to

y=(-2/7)x+7
