x = 12 because 18 *2=36 so 62 = 12 so X=12

So first we are going to start off by cross multiplying:
6/18=x/36
(6)*(36)=x*(18)
216=18x
Now that we've cross multiplied we are now going to flip the equation:
18x=216
Now divide both sides by 18
18x/18=216/18
Your final answer is:
x=12
I hope this helps you greatly!
