So to start off on answering we are going to subtract 3/5 from both of the sides:
−1/2u+3/53/5=1/63/5
−1/2u=−13/30
Okay, so now we are going to mu
ltiply both sides by 2/(-1):
(2/−1)*(−1/2u)=(2/−1)*(−13/30)
The final answer shall be:
u=13/15
I hope this helps!
