To make money a principle wants to close the school library and computer lab. Why should we keep it open

I would keep them open because how are students going to excel in the ELA classes, Social studies classes, etc. ? At my school we use the library and our computers all the time (I know having a school laptop is different that having a computer lab but some schools have them while others don't) they are both very helpful in researching topics for book repots etc.
