First lets figure out how many pints is it is a year which is 366 . Then find out how many pints are in a gallon which is 8 then divide 366 by 8 which is 45.75

OK first we know that there's 8 pints in a gallon

if he drinks a pint a day for 366 days all we have to do is divide 8 by 366

8/366=45.75
