{ x + y = 5 * ( -3 )
3x + 2y = 10
- 3 x - 3 y = - 15
3 x + 2y = 10
_______________
- y = - 5 * ( -1 )
y = 5
For x :
3 x + 2 y = 10
3 x + 2 * ( 5 ) = 10
3 x + 10 = 10
3 x = 10 - 10
3 x = 0
x = 0 / 3
x = 0
X = 0 and y = 5
hope this helps!
