From the problem, we have :

(-5z^6+6z^4+z^2+4)/(2z^2)

We can split the numerator with the same denominators, this will be :

\begin{gathered} (-5z^6)/(2z^2)+(6z^4)/(2z^2)+(z^2)/(2z^2)+(4)/(2z^2) \\ \Rightarrow-(5)/(2)z^4+3z^2+(1)/(2)+(2)/(z^2) \end{gathered}

ANSWER :

-(5)/(2)z^4+3z^2+(1)/(2)+(2)/(z^2)
