It's growing.The rapid growth of the foxes will eventually stop once it reaches the carrying capacity. The red fox vulpes had a populace of 600,000 in Germany starting at 2001. This expansion from the previous tally of 250,000 is credited to effective measures against rabies in Europe in the late 1990s and mid 2000s.
