It is false that a schema is a view of the world that someone else tells you. You take in a schema by learning, observing and doing, not necessarily listening what other people have to say about a certain thing and listening to it blindly.

No, this is false, especially, there is no need for a schema to be shown by someone else: a schema can arise in one person without the influence of the others.

Essentially, a schema is a model or a representation of something, or some way of structuring knowledge. It can originate from someone else, but doesn't have to be.
