Simplify (3 × 22) ÷ 6 + [28 – (4)2] = ?

Answer:

it's 23....

....31... the above answer isnt even an option on my test. and my algebra app says 23 also.

[28- (4)2] do this first by multiplying 2 and 4 then
[28-8] subtracting 8 from 28 to get
20 then go to
(3x22) multiply to get
66 then plug this and 20 into your problem like
66 divided by 6 +20, divide next
66 divided by 6 is
11 so add 20 to it to get
31!!!!!!!!


Remember PEMDAS
P- () or [] ** do this -> [] before ()E- exponents M- multiplyD- divideA- addS- subtract
Always go from right to left with each problem! ;)
