Answer:

Oxygenic photosynthesis

Step-by-step explanation:

Photosynthesis is the process through which plants prepare their own food using sun light. Photosynthesis is further divided in to Light-dependent reactions and light independent reaction.

Light reactions occur in the thylakoid membranes of the chloroplasts in the presence of light. On the basis of producing oxygen as product, photosynthesis can be further classified as Oxygenic photosynthesis and Anoxygenic photosynthesis.

Oxygenic photosynthes:

Oxygenic photosynthesis utilizes water as reactant to donate electrons to drive hydrogen ions. This category of photosynthesis produces oxygen as byproduct. while

Anoxygenic photosynthesis:

Anoxygenic photosynthesis utilizes other molecules instead of water as reactant. for example some forms of bacteria like Green and purple sulfur bacteria used hydrogen and sulfur as electron donors.

Answer;

Photolysis

Explanation;

-Photosynthesis is the process by which plants and other organism make their own food using energy from the sun. It occurs in two stages; light-dependent stage and light-independent stage.

-In the light-dependent reactions, which take place at the thylakoid membrane, chlorophyll absorbs energy from sunlight and then converts it into chemical energy with the use of water. Energy is absorbed and then converted into chemical energy in the form of ATP and NADPH. The light-dependent reactions release oxygen as a byproduct as water is broken apart.
